The VC-1 is a portable bridge-mounted piezo specifically designed for the cello, offering a tailpiece-mounted output jack that facilitates accurate tone reproduction without any modification to your instrument. This pickup system features a wood-encased piezo sensor that easily installs in the eye slot of the bridge through friction, ensuring a secure and reversible setup.

The sensor is encased in a lightweight wooden housing, enhancing both the aesthetic and the acoustic properties by maximising tonal sensitivity and transmission. The natural sound of the cello is beautifully captured by the VC-1s passive design, eliminating the need for batteries and maintaining the authentic acoustic sound of your instrument.

Installation is straightforward and safe; the system includes neatly-finished shim discs to perfectly fit the sensor in the bridges eye slot, even on narrower bridges. The 1/4″ socket jack is designed to attach securely to the cellos tailpiece with a Velcro band, providing a stable and reliable connection for performance. This complete set ensures that cellists can enhance their sound without permanent alterations, preserving the integrity and value of their instrument.
